New York, New York. . .It's a Wonderful Town!

by Maggie Sefton

Last week I attended the Romance Writers of America conference in New York City.  It's a great conference to meet readers as well as have meetings with your editor and agent.

Above:   Sheila Connolly, Linda O. Johnston, & Maggie Sefton

Since it was held at a Marriott hotel right in Times Square, right in the heart of the city,

I thought I'd post several views of all the people---
and the sights you'll see as you stroll back from dinner at night.

Initially, I was surprised that Linda, Sheila, and you were at a Romance Writers Conf because I know you all write mysteries. But then, when I thought about those books, they all have romance in them although Sheila's Irish pub books just have a beginning hint. Did any or all of you begin writing romances first? Cordella

Cordella---I wrote Historical Romance for over a decade---over a million words of historical fiction. :) So, one half of me is still that Historical writer. The other half writes mystery. It's fun to disappear into other worlds. In case you're interested, check out my historical mystery SCANDALS, SECRETS AND MURDER: The Widow and the Rogue Mysteries.
