Pointsettias Galore

by Deb Baker/Hannah Reed

One of my favorite annual traditions is a two hour trek to Green Bay to take my  mom to Schroeder's Flowerland to pick out a pointsettia. It took a long time to make our selections. Can you see why? In the end, we went traditional with a red/rose combination. But aren't these beautiful?

Deb, these are amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing, you have brightened my day (which is pretty gray and gloomy here in the northeast!)

Wow. I knew there were a lot of different colors-but have never seen blue ones. Gorgeous. I'd love to have pointsettia, but I have a house full of animals-so no poisonous plants for us. I do have a fake one though...maybe I should look into the availability of unique fake ones!

I can't keep a poinsettia alive for a week, so this one is not for me. I have to admit, I really dislike the painted ones, I would keep with the natural reds and whites.
