Today is a holiday to celebrate a man who made a difference because he had a dream.

I dream that when future generations have children they will not have to explain prejudice to them as I had to do so with my son.

Ditto, Debra! I also hope that we will have politicians in the future that will work with citizens and will dedicate themselves to issues such as ending discrimination and prejudice instead of dedicating themselves to their own personal gain.

To quote Dr. King, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

I wish!

to leave the world a better place for having shown up and having left something of value behind - a kind word, a smile, a compassionate gesture.
