When I was three years old my mother, my brother and I crossed the Atlantic to England on the Queen Elizabeth I. Because I am very odd, I remember events back earlier than even one year old. And I recall how very cold it was on deck even though my mother sat on a wooden lounge chair "taking in the sun." What sun?
Despite writing a series about adoption, I am not adopted.

That must have been nice.
Yay, I guessed right :-) And that is very neat that you got to do that!

I feel so lucky to have this amazing memory. My son also has this ability and remembers so much from his childhood it's scary. My daughter didn't get that gene!
And I thought my kids wouldn't remember anything from their babyhood, oh well :-)
Yeah, I have a terrible memory and remember almost nothing from my childhood! You're lucky to have that ability :-)
