My "I'll never do this": I was never going to drive in Jacksonville, Florida (uttered when we moved away from there when I was 12 and I had watched (and ridden with) my older brother learning to drive there. I have to add a big "never again" to the list: if something happens to my husband, I'm not planning on getting married again. Several of my friends are on that ship with me. We love our sweeties dearly, but when they're gone, we're done! My husband and I just celebrated our 24th anniversary in December, so we'll see how the next 24 go!

If you are ever in Canton, Tx for First Monday Trade Days, there are several vendors that sell Yellowbox. Otherwise, it's hit or miss in the stores. I gave a pair to my MIL in Michigan and she gets so many compliments...everyone wanting to know where she got them. I guess they are not widely available just yet.

Yellowbox brand! I've never heard of it but will look it up. I found a pair of Eccos that are so comfy -- cushy on the foot, grooved to fit, with a strap that adjusts. Only comes in black, though, so I'm on the lookout for a dressy white pair. I'll check Endless for Yellowbox. Thanks for the tip!

I put Kelly Flynn on crutches with a broken ankle and cast in DYER CONSEQUENCES and channelled all those old memories of hobbling around with a cast on my broken ankle from years ago. heh heh heh

I can't wear flip-flops, or any kind of sandal that has that piece that goes between the big toe and the next. It always hurts and rubs a blister. Too bad, 'cause I've seen some really cute ones out there. So it's either a different kind of sandal or tennis shoes when I go out, and barefoot in the house.

I swore I'd never be a stay at home mom. Now, one law degree and three kids later...well, here I am. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be anywhere else. I think it still amazes my parents who thought I'd never marry, much less have kids.
Regarding flip-flops, if you like BLING (and here in Texas we love it) try Yellowbox brand. Very comfy and totally acceptable as Sunday best, at least in the summer. Panty hose--never, never again. Had enough of those with suits and heels to last me a lifetime.
