Dru---okay, that matches what I experienced for 8 days. Everything is blooming, though. No hail damage that I noticed.

Stitch---ahhhhh, Texas! I remember how hot Houston can be. Daughter #3 went to med school there and then down to Galveston for internal med residency. Now lives in between. Hot, hot, and hotter is right. And humidity. Yow. Beats even the Midwest. Maybe Houston area gave all its rain credits to the East Coast.

Here in Houston, it's been hot, hotter, hottest! Temperatures are running 8-10 degrees above normal with no rain for weeks and none in the forecast. Yuck! I live in air conditioned isolation as much as possible.

Elizabeth---I was back in NoVa June 11th thru June 18th and we had a couple of sunny days, but mostly the Western Front continued to bring the rain and clouds.

Funny. Here in Colorado, we have sunny weather regularly all day and it only clouds up when a storm rolls over the mountains in the afternoons---or evening, like last night. But Back East, the front brings cloudy weather all day, with sun barely peeking out. Strange.

Sheila---I think we're all getting mildewed. But, we're certainly saving on water bills. Mother Nature is watering our yards & gardens. Let's see what happens in July. That's always the hot month for Colorado. Usually hot and dry. Hurricane season, that will be interesting.

Lynn---Boy, do I know about heat and humidity. I grew up back in NoVa outside WashDC. But the place that really have Heat/Humidity a new name was the Midwest. Lived in Indiana for 15 years. Yow! In July, you'd get up from the chaise lounge and the cushion was stuck to you. Yuck.

Very hot here in NC lately, but it was a wet spring. Now we're into the late-afternoon t-storm pattern.

It sounds like nice temps in Colorado! Wish we could be seeing those now. Sorry about your storms, but sounds like your roses are real troopers.

15 days of rain in June--we're close to the record. My furnace has been on. We had a nor'easter this week. I think I'm mildewed.

Hot, hot and more hot here in the St. Louis area. I used to laugh at 90 + degree weather. In Idaho it had to be in the 100's to be truely miserable. But with the humidity out here, I'm miserable now. :)

And we get a lot of the freak storms here.
