A THREESOME!

by Leann

I have THREE darling granddaughters and this past week was a big. The oldest started Kindergarten on the same day the middle sweetie turned THREE! Such excitement way across the country. (They live THREE time zones away.) I was lucky enough to see lots of pictures of all the big events.

I believe THREE might be my new favorite number. It seems like only yesterday when my middle granddaughter made her arrival two weeks early. I still cannot believe I got on the first plane I could and made it to the hospital only minutes before she was born. Needless to say, I did forget a few things. And now there is a baby sister. THREE girls in six years. And I do believe two X THREE=six. Those three's are all over the place this year! And here they are! How fortunate we all are to have this THREEsome in our lives!

  1. What adorable little girls. You have reason to be proud. It's too bad they are so far away, though. I'm in California and my brother and his family are in Connecticut. His wife won't fly and, when I was working, I had trouble getting plane fare and enough time off to visit there. My niece and nephew are early 30's and I've only seen them 3 times. Really sad. When I retired I had hoped to get there more often, but life has a way of getting in the way. Thank God for internet and cell phone!

    1. It is so hard to be so far, especially since traveling and I do not mesh right now--so I totally understand. But with iphones and ipads we have facetime. But getting them to be still for any longer than five minutes? Well, not yet. But nothing makes me smile more than these three little ones.

    1. That is special! My sister has three boys (all grown) and she gets to play grandma to my little ones since she lives close--and I don't. She likes getting to buy those girly clothes and pink things!! :-)

  5. I have 3 grandsons and one granddaughter. They are all much older than your 3 little darlings but I am lucky that they live in the same town with me. There have been times when they lived out of reach and I do enjoy having them so close. One of my grandsons is living with me right now. and the other 3 are just a couple of blocks away. they are all growing up so fast and will be gone soon so I am trying to enjoy them while they are close.
