To Die For Dessert

Yum. Am I full from all those wonderful dishes! Let's finish off this meal with the sweetest dessert ever. I serve this every chance I get. It's delicious. Here's the recipe (make sure your grill is fired up on medium-high heat):

  • 6 nectarines, a little firm, halved, pitted
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ozs. creme fraiche (or use sour cream and add a little honey to sweeten)

The glaze - whisk 1/2 cup honey, vinegar, and vanilla in a bowl.
Whisk creme fraiche and 2 T. honey in another bowl.
Brush the nectarines with the glaze. Grill about 4 minutes until heated through, turning.
Drizzle with remaining glaze.
Spoon on creme fraiche mixture.

So...what should we call it?
