Making a List

**The winner of last week's contest is: Vicki! Please send your snail mail address to heather@heatherwebber.com! Congratulations!**

Who's shopping today? Braving the crowds, the cold, the mayhem and madness for some of the best deals of the year?

Part of me wants to. I mean, come on. Savings like that are hard to pass up. But the claustrophobic in me says NO WAY.

I'll undoubtedly do most of my shopping online. There's nothing like placing orders with the push of a button from the comfort of home.

No matter if you do or don't, one thing is clear. Christmas is less than a month away. Shopping must be done, lists must be made.

What's on your list this year? Book gift cards? The Nook, the Kindle? I haven't made my list out yet, but I'm pretty sure a manicure and pedicure GC will be on it...

I did brave the crowds at 5am this morning at Walmart (thankfully only 1/4 mile away) to get Michael his first bike. I came away unscathed. I went back later with the kids to get some of the $2 movies and Gretchen a pair of winter boots.

No list for me...the usual books, movies, yarn always are good :)

I wasn't going out there at all. I'd rather go shopping online.

Most likely I'll be the one to buy what I want which are books, the "nook" and fabric.

Have a great Friday!

I had every intention of braving the 5am crowds this morning but sleep won out after all the festivities yesterday. The day isn't over, I might go on a date with my daughter.

My Christmas list is quite simple: bubble bath, GC to Borders, pedicure, jammies, socks.....health, happiness and love to all.

The tree is going up today.

We did it two years ago for a flat screen TV. Tony got nearly run over; fortunately, I'm meaner and I got to them before they were sold out!

For the last six years, I've done the 3-day Black shopping days and gotten all the presents. Really. This year, I won't return to Colorado till midnight tonight, Friday Nov 27. And it'll be 2am before I'm back in Ft. Collins. So, looks like I'll be getting a late start shopping on Saturday.

Katie, his first bike? Awwww. What a great present.

Dru, I hope you get that nook! With all you read, your shelves are probably overflowing.

Debbie, that list sounds pretty good to me, too!

Jeff, I can't see you being mean at all! And poor Tony!! But a flat screen is totally worth it.

Maggie, I hope you still get some good deals tomorrow. And travel safe tonight!

I braved Home Depot for lawn and leaf bags (when will these leaves stop falling????) and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of nightmare traffic. The place was busy but no more so than a three day weekend.
