All you have to do is leave a comment with why you're thankful or what you're thankful for. I'll draw randomly from the comments on Thanksgiving Day and post the winner next Friday.I'll start: I'm thankful, among many things, for family, friends, Pip (see picture here), hot water, health insurance, pumpkin pie, good books, a working computer, and Indian summers.

Heather, I'm thankful for family, of course, friends, my pets, and my job. I'm thankful, that even though I won't be able to be with my family at Thanksgiving, I get to be with them at Christmas this year, the first in many years. I hope everyone has wonderful holidays!!!

Hi Heather, I'm thankful for the life I have and my family and friends who love me. My daughter has moved back to our home town and I can spend the holidays with her this year and I am thankful for that too.
I'm most thankful for waking up every day; my family and friends, and for keeping my job.
Have a good weekend.
I am a new follower to this site. I just discovered it!
I am forever thankful for my family (all of them!) but especially my awesome husband and beautiful son. Without them, it just wouldn't be the same.
I would love to enter to win Truly, Madly. Thank you.

I'm most thankful that my husband is still with me! He was diagnosed with lymphoma five years ago. After 3 rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant, he's still alive and kicking. He's somewhat limited in what he can do, but makes the best of things and is such a joy to me.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I'm thankful for my family and for some really great friends that help me get through the tough times. I'd never make it without them! And for the great books writers like you continue to bless us with!
My list is quite long. Here's a partial list: I am thankful for my family, church family, friends, Facebook, Twin birthdays, the beach, thunderstorms, fresh baked cookies, hugs from my kids, the ability to go back to school and the strength to beat diabetes.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
So many things to be thankful for. My sister challenged me to come up with one thing each day of November & post it on Facebook.
But of course I am thankful for my family, friends, health, job and having my mental faculties most of the time. ;)
I'm thankful for my wonderful family and friends, and our great dog. I'm thankful that my sister just recently moved back to our hometown. I'm thankful for great books and chocolate. I'm thankful for the home I have...it's small and cozy and I love living here with my family. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I'm thankful for a good husband, a good sister, good brothers, good friends, knitting, and good books to read!
Thanks for the contest!
I am thankful that though we have been through some tough times this year, I am still "Truly, Madly" in love with my husband!
I'm thankful for my family and my beautiful cat Tara, my home, my job, great books, chocolate and pizza, Christmas, life.
Nice blog, heather.
Let's see, I'm thankful for my husband, my children, my weiner dog, my love of reading...and my usual uncanny abilty to always, always sleep through the night.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for my children and grandchildren & for the fact that I will be spending Thanksgiving with some of them. Also thankful for the internet so I can keep in touch with the family that live to far away to visit very often.
Of course, I am very lucky to have many friends - some in my town that I see every week and others on the internet.
Happy Thanksgiving to All!

I noticed you were thankful for hot water. I am truly thankful for RUNNING water. Picture how your life would be if you had to haul all your own water. Yep, it's the little things that count. Thank you for having such a meaningful comment contest with such a rich reward at the end! If I win, I will be sure and post a review so that all can get a good preview of what is coming!
I'm thankful for all the authors who provide great books for me to escape with. I'm greatfu for my friends, family and and the fact that I wake up each and every day :)
After three challenging autumns in a row, I'm thankful that this one has been relatively calm.
Other things: squirrels, Ben and his pal Jerry, paved roads, cars that work, flannel sheets, rewarding work, and the joy of sinking into bed with a good book at the end of a day well spent. Especially if everyone else in the house is already asleep so there's no one awake to bug me :-)
I'm thankful that I seem to have come out of the "burned up, burned out, and just don't care" tunnel I was in last year at this time. I didn't want to cook, decorate, or do anything. This year I'm actually looking forward to the holidays.
I love all this thankfulness. It really is heartwarming. Just what I needed headed into Thanksgiving!
I actually forget to be thankful for all the things I have. 3 beautiful children, a nice house, a great job, loving pets, a few good friends and lots and lots of books. Thank you for reminding me how blessed I am. I am also thankful for wonderful authors like you who make reading the highpoint of my day.
I'm thankful for passing two of my tests this week, my wonderful kids, knitting, and the people in KY who have become me "family."
Here are some things I'm thankful for (in no particular order):
1. my darling hubby and 33 (mostly) wonderful years together (hoping for quite a few more)
2. the four healthy kids we were blessed with, who have grown into (mostly) awesome adults, all of whom I enjoy spending time with
3. my fabulous four year old grandson (also have high hopes for a few more)
4. chocolate (self explanatory)
I am thankful for my husband above all, but I am thankful that I have a job, love my job, and have 3 days off from my job next week! :) (ok, so even a happy girl gets tired!)
Great post, Heather!
I am thankful for my wonderful husband and my family and friends. I am also thankful for a job that I love and the people that I work with that make it such a great place to work. And last but not least, I am thankful for all of the great books that are being published, especially by the authors on this blog that I truly enjoy.
I'm thankful for my wonderful family and I'm also thankful that I am blessed with a group of strong, vibrant, loyal women friends that have taught me so much. We have enjoyed each other in the good times and supported each other through the not so good.
My life is rich beyond measure because of them. We are all voracious readers which makes all of us thankful for the fantastic women who write the books we devour!
I'm thankful for the chance to find myself after spending a year fighting for more time. Not there yet, but closer each day.
I'm thankful for my new job (after 7 weeks of unemployment), my husband, sisters and friends, great books by great writers, great music, my guitar, chocolate, air-conditioning and good wine.

I am especially thankful to be a part of the Cozy Chicks and to be inspired by these amazing writers and our even more amazing readers.
Many blessings to all this Thanksgiving!
Heather, this book is going to soar! I just know it!
This book sounds awesome.
I'm thankful for my love of reading - I can never be bored. My wonderful daughter, my kind and helpful husband, and my 3 dogs, who keep me endlessly entertained. I'm thankful for our good fortune with our jobs and home and full pantry. I'm thankful for the technology that has helped me make so many friends with similar interests.
Thanks for the contest!
I am a job-seeking librarian, but thankful for a full-time job in a school that allows me time to read! I also thank God for my loving family, hubby, 3 married kids, and 4 very cute toddler grandsons!
I'm late but when I saw your hot water mention in the post I had to add "indoor plumbing and flush toilets"!
