I know I've been absent for a bit -- I've got two books due in the next four weeks, and that's been my focus night and day for a while now. Fortunately, after a month or two of pedal to the metal (or fingers to the plastic, as the case may be), I'm now within range of finishing both projects; one should be done within two weeks, and the other needs a revision and a scene or two added at the end, but is more or less in the can. So I can relax and do other things, like sleep. And blog.
I loved reading everyone's place suggestions a while back, by the way -- when I'm not working on the two projects I'm under contract for, I've been thinking about what to do next -- you were a big help.
For those of you have been asking about Murder Most Maine, the pub date is now official. It will be out in November of this year, the book is almost finished, and I posted the cover on my blog yesterday. There are two mysteries in the book, one current, one past, and they both focus on a lighthouse -- lots of fun! I've really enjoyed heading back to Maine after spending a year or two in in supernatural Austin.
I'm off to sleep now -- need to write another fifteen pages tomorrow -- and hope all is well in your corner of the world!
