    Busy, Busy

    Heather Webber Icon

It’s hard to believe that spring break is almost over. Where does the time go? Oh, right. To sleeping late, cleaning my office, tackling the clutter in the attic…but mostly resting and relaxing.

And I needed it. To prepare. Mentally at least.

April begins a month of travel for me. April 3-6, I’ll be on the road with the Deadly Divas, a tour through Illinois. More info here.

April 12-13 I’ll be in St. Louis for a signing and the MS walkathon.

April 24-27 I will be at Malice Domestic, a great conference for cozy lovers! The Cozy Chicks (me, JB, Kate, Maggie and Diana) are planning some sort of get-together (everyone invited!) on that Saturday. More info on that to come later.

All this while I have a book due the first of June. Like Diana, I will have Deadline Fever shortly. Very shortly. It’s contagious, didn’t you know?

When does summer begin? Is it too early to start looking forward to it?

    1. And why isn’t Boston on that list?!?!?!?

Spring hasn’t sprung around here yet. It’s a miserable overcast and rainy day. I can’t wait to go outside and actually ENJOY the yard. The only reason I go outside now is so my 2 year old can play. Believe me, it’s NOT fun. Yet.

    2. Do you no longer feel guilty about abandoning your children? Theo is emotionally unavailable for babysitting.

    3. I am lucky enough to be attending one of your Deadly Diva events in Illinois. Can’t wait to see you there!!! You are actually coming to a bookstore pretty close to being in my backyard - what could be more exciting. Thanks for making my weekend!!

    4. Maybe next year for Boston, Debbie! For signings anyway. Am hoping to sneak a trip in sometime this summer, just for fun.

Cathy, that’s wonderful! Make sure you say hi! It should be a fun weekend. I’m driving in, so I’m hoping all the nasty weather is looong gone.

    5. Have fun, Heather. And I’ll look forward to seeing you at Malice Domest in April. And–yes–deadline dementia is starting to nibble at me. This current mystery-in-progress is due the end of June and I’m struggling to keep up with travel and family visits (love them).

    6. Good luck with the deadline, Maggie. I’m really starting to stress about mine. Ack. I’m sure I’ll be writing at Malice!

    7. Well, pull up a chair and join me. You’ll probably see me sitting in a comfy chair around the bar lounge with my laptog.

    8. I’m sure we’re not alone, Maggie. We can have a whole writing party!
