    Trouble with Troule

    Heather Webber Icon

I sent of my every-so-often newsletter last week, so glad to get it off during the week my newest book came out. As you all know, I tend to procrastinate.

So, my husband opens his copy and immediately spots a typo.  A big one. Right at the top.

    Ay yi yi.

Of course, I can’t unsend the letter. That’s just not possible, so I did the next best thing. I went into denial. If I ignore it, it will go away.  But I was perplexed, because I’m a little bit OCD and know I spell-checked the newsletter at least 12 times before I sent it to my web master.

I went back to my original, and sure enough, the typo wasn’t in mine. Somewhere between here and there and cyberspace Trouble became Troule. I kind of like the word troule. Has a certain ring to it, no?

Anyhoo, for those interested, here it is, troule-free. If you want to receive my every-so-often newsletter, which is sent, appropriately, every-so-often (about twice a year), pop over to my website and fill in the info, and be sure to confirm your email when asked (or the info gets sucked into a black hole).

    Heather Webber’s Every-So-Often Newsletter

    April 2007

    Here Comes More Trouble!

This week TROUBLE IN BLOOM, the fourth book in my Nina Quinn mystery series, hit book store shelves everywhere.  In BLOOM, Nina’s forced out of her horticultural comfort zone and onto the set of a reality TV show, where it turns out the only realities are lies, betrayal, and murder.

Meanwhile, Nina is on a self-discovery quest that leads her down a hysterical path of hair coloring, manicures, and personal trainers when all she wants to really do is stick her hands in potting soil. You don’t want to miss it!

As always, all the TROUBLE books can either be found or ordered at your favorite bookseller.

    Spring Fever

I love this time of year. Okay, I could have done without the killer freeze that toasted most of the newly emerged buds on my plants, but hey, that’s just me. Other than that, I’m loving the warmer temperatures, the bursts of color, and of course, baseball (Go, Red Sox)!

    In The Garden

Now’s the time to take a trip to your local garden center for inspiration! Before you plant, make sure all danger of frost is gone in your area. Here in the
Cincinnati area, the rule of thumb is Mother’s Day.  Ask your local garden center when the date is in your town. Just Blogging Along

Soon, the Cozy Chicks will be moving from Blogger to our own site, which you can bookmark now—www.cozychicksblog.com. The site should be up and running in a week or so. Currently we’re still at www.cozychicks.blogspot.com, where I post on Fridays. I’m also blogging every Monday at www.thelittleblogofmurder.com

All Right, All Right, I’m Almost Done

I’ve recently finishing WEEDING OUT TROUBLE, the fifth Nina Quinn book, which will be released next spring. And yes, I finished ahead of deadline! Amazing, isn’t it?  Currently, I’m trying my hand at a new project. Wish me luck!  I have lots of events coming up. If you’re in any of these areas, please stop by and say hi!

    1. I’m such a dunce. I read your every-so-often newsletter and didn’t even notice the troublesome typo!

Did I tell you I loved the book?
And that I want to pinch you cause of the end?
I can’t wait for the next one!!!
Have you picked a title yet?
